Tattoo Waste Disposal
Tattoo waste requirements are not just about needles needing disposal in a sharps bin. They can include:
- Used cotton swabs and wipes
- Protective gloves
- Paper towels
- Plastic protective covering
All of which can be contaminated and classified as Offensive / Hygiene waste requiring proper disposal, typically a 50 litre yellow bin containing yellow sacks are used for this purpose. Where needed an additional 240 litre to 1100 litre bin can be held externally to accumulate yellow sacks.
Principal Hygiene will work with you to establish your requirements and provide a regular collection of your waste and providing you with a disposal consignment note and Duty of Care documentation.
